Which spill pallet is best for oil and lubricant drums?
The industrial grade oil drum spill pallet. It carries 400 kg (2 drum) or 800–900 kg (4 drum). A full 200 litre drum of oil weighs about 190–200 kg, so check your filled drum weight against the rating before ordering.
What is an industrial grade plastic spill pallet?
A plastic spill pallet moulded from UV-stabilised LDPE, with a sump under a removable grating that catches leaks, drips and spills from drums. It is also called a bund pallet, sump pallet or drum spill tray.
Can it hold full 200 litre drums of chemicals or acids?
Not on the 2 drum models. A full 200 litre drum of a water-based chemical weighs about 220 kg, so two drums exceed the 400 kg rating, and acids weigh more. For chemicals and acids, choose the DIBt grade heavy duty spill pallet, which carries 450 kg (2 drum) or 900 kg (4 drum), and check your total drum weight against the rating.
Which model holds a full 205 L drum?
The 225 L 4 drum model. The 50 L, 70 L and 125 L models catch leaks, drips and small spills.
What is the spill pallet price in India?
The industrial grade runs from Rs. 7,656 (2 drum, 50 L) to Rs. 16,896 (4 drum, 225 L), plus GST and freight. Bulk and dealer pricing is available on request.
Is an LDPE spill pallet resistant to oil and chemicals?
Yes. An LDPE spill pallet resists most oils, lubricants, acids and alkalis. For solvents or strong oxidising agents, send us the safety data sheet and we will confirm suitability.
