The Frontier SpillSafe 70L is a low profile spill pallet and heavy duty spill pallet for four 200 litre drums of oil and chemicals. Its 150 mm high, 70 litre sump catches leaks, drips and small spills, and the low deck makes drums easier to roll on and off. The pallet carries a 1,200 kg static load, about 300 kg per drum, for four full steel drums. The sump is moulded from DIBt-approved metallocene polymer (PE-MD), stronger than LDPE and more flexible than HDPE, making this 4 drum spill pallet a dependable chemical spill pallet and spill pallet for acids, alkalis and hazardous liquid storage. Also called a bund pallet, sump pallet or drum spill tray, it works as a secondary containment pallet for indoor drum storage.

DIBt-Approved Metallocene Polymer (PE-MD) – The sump polymer is approved by Germany's DIBt. It is stronger than LDPE, more flexible than HDPE and resists most oils, acids and alkalis.

The 150 mm low-profile sump holds 70 litres, including the grating. It catches leaks, drips and small spills from four drums. To hold the full contents of a 205 L drum, choose the 4 drum spill containment pallet with 225 L sump.
Q2. Should I choose the 70 L or the 225 L 4 drum spill pallet?
Both have the same 1300 × 1300 mm footprint and 1,200 kg load. Choose the 225 L deep sump for full-drum containment: 3.2 times the capacity for Rs. 2,910 more. Choose the 70 L when you need a low deck for easy drum loading and only leaks and drips to catch.
Q3. How is the DIBt grade spill pallet different from the industrial grade?
This DIBt grade pallet carries a 1,200 kg static load, 1.5 times the 800 kg of the industrial grade. Its sump is moulded from DIBt-approved metallocene polymer (PE-MD), while the industrial grade uses LDPE.
Q4. What is metallocene polymer (PE-MD)?
Metallocene polymer is polyethylene made with a metallocene catalyst, which gives a more uniform molecular structure. The PE-MD in this sump is stronger than LDPE and more flexible than HDPE, so it takes drum impacts without cracking.
Q5. Is this spill pallet DIBt approved?
The polymer is. The sump is moulded from DIBt-approved polymer, approved by DIBt (Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik), Germany's technical authority for construction products. Ask us for the approval document.
